A special topics course. Intensive study and discussion of the history, theory and social function of the various musical traditions of a particular culture and their relationship to other forms of art. Topic will be announced in advance by the instructor. Others by permission of the instructor. This course is repeatable for a maximum of 6 credits or 2 attempts.
