HCC 760 - Human-Computer Interaction[3] This course examines and analyzes cognitive and software concepts that underlie human-computer interaction. The concepts include cognitive theories of memory organization, problem solving strategies, and linguistic comprehension. Interaction software technologies that are examined include menu selection systems, command languages, and direct manipulation techniques. This course is intended to introduce the student to the current literature, and to prepare the student for conducting independent research and for designing appropriate interaction software.
