EHS 461 - Introduction to Paramedic Practice

This is an introductory course to the paramedic track. Topics include roles and responcibilities of the paramedic, EMS systems and communications, documetation, ethics, ambulance operations, MCI command, rescue awareness, hazardous materials incidents, terrorism, and crime scene awareness. Note Current valid EMT certification will be evaluated on a case-by-case basic within the department.
