MCS 345 - Virtual Ethnography and Digital Life (3)This course introduces students to the social scientific theories, techniques, and applications of virtual and digital ethnography. Our readings range from academic books focused on international connectivity, to professionals' use of ethnographic methods for social media design. We will focus on developing research and writing strategies that capture the empirical and ethical complexity of understanding and representing peoples' digital lives and virtual experiences.
