Special attention is given to the social sources of religious attitudes; religious roles and organizations; American religious trends; and the interplay between religion and science, religion and politics, religion and economic behavior, and religion and social class. Recommended Preparation: SOCY 101 or ANTH 211 or permission of the instructor
