AMST 422 - Preserving Places, Making Spaces in Baltimore(3.00) This is an applied research course where students develop an innovative preservation project on overlooked local history in Baltimore by using the skills of social entrepreneurship. The professional and scholarly aspects of the field of historic preservation and the study of place will be applied to a community project in the greater Baltimore region. This course will educate students about preserving local cultural traditions and community engagement. Recommended Preparation: Six credits in American Studies courses, 3 at the upper-level
