GERM 313 - The Contemporary German-Speaking World(3.00) This course is an introduction to the contemporary German-speaking world from an intercultural perspective. The focus will be on current issues such as immigration and integration, diversity and the changing nature of German society, and the public discourse about Islam in German within a global context. Switzerland, Austria, and Luxemburg will also be studied.
