GES 220 - Lab and Field Techniques for Environmental Science(4.00) Students enrolled in this course will gain experience in field sampling, laboratory procedures and data analysis. Exercises will involve field and laboratory work with some combination of water, soils, vegetation, landforms and atmospheric phenomena. Students will work in teams, and each will develop a final research project for presentation at the end of the semester. This is a required course for students majoring in environmental science or environmental studies.

In addition, you must have completed BIOL 100 or BIOL 101 or BIOL 141 or CHEM 101 with a grade of C or better or be concurrently enrolled in BIOL 141 or CHEM 101 .
