THTR 341 - Theatre Ensemble II(3.00) An advanced course in the creative and collaborative process of theatre-making. Students participate as directors, designers, writers, adapter and performers to create works in a process that allows for a deeper investigation of performance style, genres or methods. Students, in consultation with the instructor, design appropriate research activities and develop ensemble methods to create their performance pieces. This is a nonproduction focused course; the semester culminates in a presentation of works-in-progress. This course is repeatable for a maximum of 6 credits or 2 attempts. Recommended Course Preparation: THTR 202 and THTR 244 and 200-level design.
