LLC 642 - Visual Literacy

This course focuses on the impact of new media, including an evolving visual and technological literacy. The course examines literacy development and expectations, both visual and textual, across cultures. For both readers and writers, technology is reshaping our literate practices; literacy definitions are expanding; and literacy expectations are increasing, requiring new skills and a changed composing process.
