THTR 100 - Introduction to Theatre Scenography(3.00) A theoretical introduction to the artistic and aesthetic aspects of theatre scenography, which includes the development of stage scenery, props and methodology. Lectures will cover the historical, conceptual and technical characteristics of set design. Students will read and analyze plays from the perspective of a designer and will supplement that study with practical experiences relating to department productions.
