ANCS 204 - Masterpieces of Ancient Literature(3.00) A study of the classical and/ or Judeo-Christian traditions in Western literature and, in some cases, their relationship to the writings of the Old Testament. Greek and Latin classics such as Homer’s Iliad, Sappho’s and Catullus’ love poetry, and Virgil’s Aeneid, will be read in English translation.
