ANTH 480 - Anthropological Research: Capstone(3.00) This capstone course provides students with an intensive, hands-on experience applying anthropological theories and methods to investigate a research topic. The course explores a range of research methods found within anthropology, including participant observation and informal and formal interviewing, followed by qualitative data analysis approaches. Over the semester students develop and implement a research project utilizing these techniques. The course also examines issues of representation. Students are expected to present their findings.
