ART 363 - Color Photography

This course focuses on the use of color as an element in photographic expression. The course includes introduction to color temperature and white balance, exposure, lighting, color theory, image capture and output, digital workflow, digital manipulation of color, and color management. Students will develop the ability to think critically about and discuss visual images through assignments, critiques, writings and presentations. Students will also be introduced to a history of color photography and an overview of contemporary artists working with color.
