(2.00)This course introduces students to literature composed for jazz ensemble. Students will perform with the UMBC Jazz Ensemble at the end of the semester. This course is repeatable for a maximum of 20 credits. An audition with the ensemble director is required. MUSC 320 cannot be taken concurrently with MUSC 358 . Recommended PreparationMUSC 190 or MUSC 193 or MUSC 194 or prior experience playing in an ensemble. Note Permission of the department is required.
