POLI 281 - International Relations (w/ writing focus)(3.00) This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of international relations. Students are taught the basic concepts, main theoretical approaches, and major issues in the study of world politics. The central purpose of the course is to help students develop the conceptual tools and analytical skills necessary for explaining international affairs. This course offers the same content as POLI 280 ; however, it is designed as a ‘writing-intensive’ version of the course. Students who choose to take POLI 281 MAY NOT subsequently take POLI 280 .
