EDUC 446 - Language, Literacy, and Intellectual Development of Young Children(3.00) This course is designed to assist teacher candidates to understand literacy acquisition and processes by observing and analyzing children’s language, reading, and writing development. Current and historical issues in language and literacy practice and research are explores through university classroom experiences, observation of children, and family visits/interviews.
