GES 381 - Remote Sensing(4.00) This course includes interpretation of imagery, such as aerial photos, b/w IR, color IR, Radar, Thermal IR and various satellite system images. Special emphasis is given to acquisition of data through the use of photogrammetric techniques and visual interpretation. Topical applications include forestry, urbanization, geology and landforms, water resources, agriculture and land use. The course usually includes a one-hour aerial flight project.
