GES 433 - Sustainability, Land Use and Natural Resources(3.00) This seminar class will examine the theory and practice of sustainability as applied to renewable natural resources. Examples and case studies will be drawn from the land-use systems involved with agriculture, forestry, fisheries, recreation and nature conservation. This will be done in an international context, comparing and contrasting sustainability issues in developed and developing countries.
