(2.00)The UMBC Symphony is a full-size symphonic ensemble consisting of students, faculty and community members. The orchestra meets once a week in the evening and performs regularly in public throughout the year. This course is repeatable for a maximum of 20 credits. An audition with the ensemble director is required. MUSC 305 cannot be taken concurrently with MUSC 358. Recommended PreparationMUSC 190 or MUSC 193 or MUSC 194 or prior experience playing in an ensemble. Note: Permission of the department is required.
