(2.00)This course introduces students to literature composed for jazz ensemble. Students will perform with the UMBC Jazz Ensemble at the end of the semester. This course is repeatable for a maximum of 20 credits. An audition with the ensemble director is required. MUSC 320 cannot be taken concurrently with MUSC 358. Recommended PreparationMUSC 190 or MUSC 193 or MUSC 194 or prior experience playing in an ensemble. Note: Permission of the department is required.
