CHEM 467 - Advanced Analytical Methods(3.00) This is an advanced survey of molecular characterization methodologies, and the information that can be obtained from each, as well as their application to current, real-world chemical/biochemical analyses. The course will consist of: (i) Data Handling and Chemical Transport Phenomena, (ii) Molecular Characterization Methods (fluorescence, Raman, Electrochemical, etc.), (iii) Chemical/Biochemical Imaging (fluorescence and Raman microscopy, atomic force microscopy, SEM, TEM, etc.). It will consist of lectures and discussions based on readings from current literature
