HIST 687 - Europe, 1815-1914[3] An examination of European history from the Congress of Vienna, which ended the Napoleonic Wars, until the eve of World War I. Emphasis will be placed on the impact of the Industrial Revolution on social classes, ideologies, nation and empire building, gender roles, cultural trends and international competition in the 20th century.
