This course introduces students to the principles and practice of recording, editing, mixing anddelivery within the context of film and video postproduction. There will be extensive study of techniques and workflows including recording and overdubbing, editing and mixing for dialog / ADR, music, effects and Foley, and through this interaction with other programs and with servers and networks; synchronisation techniques; and documentation protocols (metadata, EDL).
