A course designed to introduce singers to pronunciation and use of the languages most often encountered in vocal repertoire, while providing an overview of representative repertoire & its development. Offered alternating spring semesters, this course is one of three that include International Phonetic Alphabet/English/Italian (offered each fall semester) and German. This course is repeatable for credit. Recommended Preparation: MUSC 161 or consent of instructor. Notes: Required for all voice majors.
