[3]This course will introduce basic and advanced computational issues and methods used in computational biology. I will combine core lectures, with programming assignments and a final project. Topics will include algorithmms for alignment of biological sequences, multiple sequence alignment, and gene prediction. Prerequisite: Prerequisites: Permission of instructor.
