AFST 390 - American Health Care System and the Black Community (3)

A course for students concerned with the health status of black, poor and minority people. Analysis of the relationship between the condition of the health of black people in America and the health delivery system. Specific attention will be on federal, state and local health care policies; personnel training in health administration; medical care organizations; financing and research and evaluation. Recommended Preparation: PBHL 100, AFST 271 or junior/senior status.
