ENCH 615 - Materials Science For Engineers 3 Materials Science is a field where the properties of materials are related to its structure at the atomic, microscopic and macroscopic levels. Understanding this relationship helps us to achieve the required combination of properties in a given material for a specific application. The course will introduce the basic principles underlying the behavior of materials. Since materials are used by all engineers for different purposes, this course attempts to cover the use of materials in all branches of engineering in general with an emphasis on chemical engineering. Interesting and technologically impacting developments in materials that have found important critical applications in our lives will be highlighted. Course ID: 102561 Components: Lecture Grading Method: Regular
