ENEN 621 - Groundwater Hydrology

Description: This course provides students with the fundamentals of sub-surface hydrology and the study of scientific and engineering problems related to groundwater quantity and quality. It introduces the fundamental groundwater fluid and solute mass balance equations. It also relates the parameters of the equations to physical and chemical properties of soils and geological formations. Elementary analytical and computational solution techniques and their applications to the movement of water and solutes in natural environments are discussed.
