Description: This course introduces students to the basic technologies and concepts for the field of information systems. The major concepts covered are: data communications, systems administration, and databases. Web technology is used as a framework for teaching these concepts. At the end of this course, students will have mastered the concepts at an introductory level and have the practical skills to design, develop and maintain a Web site on both the client and server side.
