Description: This course will provide students with an introduction to the discipline of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW). Groupware systems, ranging from two people to enterprise-level, are exceedingly complex due to the interplay between social dynamics and distributed computing. This course will engage students with contemporary research and industry best practices in the design, development, and evaluation of collaborative information systems.
