Description: The study of decision making has become extremely important as goods and services available in the market have grown exponentialy in variety and complexity, and transportation and communication advances have connected national and international economies. This course will introduce methodologies for effective decision making. Topics will include decision analysis, decision trees, utility and value theory, cost benefit analysis, decision making under uncertainty, risk perception and assessment, and multiple-criteria decision making, math programming, network models, operations management.
