MATH 750 - Introduction to Interdisciplinary Consulting

Description: This course provides an introduction to professional consulting. Students will gain experience in approaching application problems, translating them into the language of mathematics and statistics, applying mathematical and statistical tools including software, and delivering the product to the client. People from across campus and from local companies and government agencies will serve as clients to provide real-life consulting experience. If the course is integral to a student’s curriculum, the course can be repeated once for credit by petitioning the graduate program director.
