PHYS 622 - Atmospheric Physics II Credits: [3] Description: This course provides an introduction to aerosol and cloud processes in the Earth’s atmosphere, emphasizing the complexity of the Earth system. By the end of the course, students should have a basic understanding of the dynamic evolution of aerosol particles and cloud droplets and their interactions and effects on our climate. The course covers atmospheric composition, physical and chemical properties of aerosols, aerosol processes, cloud microphysics, processes in warm-phase clouds, aerosol-cloud interactions, and atmospheric chemistry. Course ID: 056197 When Offered: Fall Components: Lecture Grading Method: A-F, Pass/Fail, Audit
