AMST 410 - Seminar in U.S. Social Structures (3) Advanced study of a specific problem in U.S. social structures, focusing on particular institutional structures and practices that shape and are shaped by the experiences of individuals and social groups in American society. The seminar is designed to develop research and analytical skills specific to this area, and students will have the opportunity to do original research. Topics will be published in the Schedule of Classes. Recommended Preparation: Six credits in American Studies courses, three at the upper level.
