ART 210 - Visual Concepts I (3) Visual Concepts I introduces the visual art major to two-dimensional basic design principles, various perception and notation techniques, expression and subtractive color theory. Other issues covered include symmetry and asymmetry, formal and informal organization, proportion, perspective, visualization, imagination, illusion, rhythm, typography, narrative (linear/nonlinear), collage and text/image relationships.
