ART 305 - Introduction to Photography and Cinema (3) This course builds upon the foundation courses of ART 211 and ART 213 and will provide an in-depth introduction to digital tools and techniques in photographic and cinematic practice. Students will advance their skills in production and post-production while exploring how digital tools and media can be used as a means for creative expression in the creation of still and time-based works and will learn about the evolution of analog to digital tools in both photography and film. Note: ART 305 is the gateway course and must be passed with a grade of ‘B’ or better for students to continue onto upper-level Photography and Cinematic Arts courses. (Fall/Spring)
