CMPE 320 - Probability, Statistics, and Random Processes (3)


This course presents the fundamental concepts of probability, statistics and random processes from a computer and electrical engineering perspective, emphasizing applications in communications, signal processing, and machine learning. Students will learn basic methods to analyze and model the probabilistic behavior of engineering systems and to analyze experimental data associated with such systems. A brief use-driven introduction of multivariate calculus concepts will be provided. (Spring)
