CMPE 413 - Principles of VLSI Design (4)


This course provides an introduction to the concepts and techniques of VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) design, including the VLSI design process, details of the MOS transistor, CMOS processing technology and device fabrication, design rules, digital CMOS circuits, VLSI structures, timing issues, simulation, real circuits and performance. This course includes a laboratory that uses the CADENCE design tools.
