ENGL 110Y - Composition ESL Students (4)

A composition course for students whose first language is not English. Course work will emphasize academic essay patterns and writing techniques. Students may be assigned additional grammar work if necessary. Recommended Preparation: In consultation with an advisor, a student will self-place into ENGL 110Y. Note: ENGL 110Y is the equivalent of ENGL 100 and ENGL 110, a university graduation requirement. It must be passed with a ‘C’ or better.
