ENGL 491 - Seminar in Topics in the English Language (3) A historical and linguistic study of the English language from its origins in Old English to World English, as well as language issues in contemporary America. Topics will be published in the Schedule of Classes. This course is repeatable for credit with different topic. Students may complete a maximum of 6 credits.
Grading: Graded/Satisfactory Unsatisfactory/Audit Course ID: 54155 Consent: No Special Consent Required Components: Lecture Prerequisite: ENGL 301 with a grade of ‘C’ or better and completion of 60 credits.
