PBHL 100 - Introduction to Public Health (3)


This course provides an overview of public health, giving students foundational knowledge in health policy, traditional public health practice, and health administration. Students will examine different aspects of the public health system and how those parts relate to each other. PBHL 100 also addresses the social, political, and economic factors involved in health and the public health system. Note: A grade of ‘C’ or better in the course is required for the major. (Fall/Spring)
