IS 450 - Data Communications and Networks (3)

This is an introductory survey course in data communications and networking. It surveys basic theory and technology of computer networking. A single networking protocol stack is also covered in depth.

Prerequisite: IS 300  and IS 310  with a grade of ‘B’ or better. In progress courses do not meet this requirement. MATH 215  or MATH 221  with a grade of ‘C’ or better.
