MUSC 323 - Career Development for Musicians (3)

This practicum class examines the components of creating a successful career in the music field. Beginning by exploring traditional careers as well as the many creative, entrepreneurial paths musicians have taken, areas to be studied include self-presentation (writing and speaking), the components of a successful press package, websites, recorded material, and resumes. Financial support options and research methods, legal issues, and contracts will also be discussed.
