POLI 250 - Introduction to Public Administration and Policy (3) This course provides a basic understanding of the theories and practice of public administration: how public organizations are different from private organizations, the political context of public administration, the problems of bureaucratic power and control, organizational theory and personnel management, and core policy and management processes such as regulation and budgeting. Recommended Preparation: Sophomore standing or POLI 100 .
