PSYC 356 - The Psychology of Sex and Gender (3) An examination of the psychology and biology of sex and gender differences. The major focus of the course is an examination of the psychological and social factors that lead to the development of sex and gender differences and similarities in behavior. Sexuality and variations in sexual orientation will be discussed. Research on both sexes (biological construct) and gender (consequence of socialization) will be included. Diversity and variation on concepts will be explored.
