RLST 370 - African Religions in Africa and the Diaspora (3)

A comparative study of selected indigenous African religions and an examination of African religious survivals in the New World. Continuity and change in the principal forces of the religious systems: the Supreme Being, the cosmic gods, the ancestors and lesser spirits, as well as the relationship to other religions. Recommended Preparation: Junior/senior standing.
