SOWK 374 - Social Work with Immigrants and Refugees (3) This course provides an introduction to the information and skills necessary for generalist social work practice with immigrants and refugees. Its purpose is defined as the restoration, maintenance, and enhancement of the social functioning of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities and the promotion of social justice. Recommended Preparation: SOWK 200 or SOWK 260 .
