STAT 121 - Introduction to Statistics for the Social Sciences (4) Introduction to statistical methods common to social science applications. Topics include descriptive statistics, elementary probability theory, concepts of sampling and principles of statistical inference. Note: Not open to students who have passed a higher-level statistics course with a grade of ‘C’ or better.
