THTR 353 - Stage Management (3)

An examination of the varied responsibilities and practical techniques of the theatre stage manager. Students will learn the skills for managing a group communication dynamic, constructing a prompt book, rehearsal schedule, and the different techniques needed for pre-production, rehearsals, technical rehearsals and performances. Also included will be an exploration of the organizational structures of a theatrical production. Recommended Preparation: THTR 100, THTR 120, THTR 261, THTR 262, THTR 263, and THTR 264.
